Receptra Targeted Topical 400 mg Review
The Receptra Targeted Topical 400 mg is a pain cream, muscle healer, and helps with joint tightness and inflammation. The product smells like an “all natural” version of Icy Hot or Tiger Balm. Some folks might not like this, but as an ex-soccer player the smell brought back a lot of training memories with the trusty Tiger Balm.
This product has changed packaging, since we first reviewed it. The product has evolved a little bit, but the quality has stayed the same. We really like this product because it works on so many levels. Receptra’s great ingredients help create a high quality product to keep your body moving before, during, and after a busy day or rough workout.
I’m using Receptra Targeted Topical 400 mg on my knees before and after a heavy tai chi workout. I had surgery on my right knee in high school, so the cream helps with increased blood flow, while the tai chi movements help slowly pull apart the old scar tissue. I think it’s working, my knees don’t hurt any more.
The formula has some oils (arnica, jojoba, ylang-ylang) that help with pain relief, inflammation, and bruising. All these oils help to increases circulation to affected areas.
When using the product, I felt a very light “heating effect”, almost like the area I rubbed the cream on got more blood flow, so it heated up the injured part of my body. I really liked this effect because it comes from the Eastern school of medicine that believes you need to send more blood to the injured area to allow the body to heal itself quicker. I believe in this 100% and think this is one of the unique things about this product. It really helps to increase circulation to increase healing and recovery time of muscle and joints.
Arnica is good for bruises, aches, sprains and even arthritis flare-ups.
Jasmine covers skin blemishes and the smell promotes a euphoric feeling. Due to this ingredient, I’ve been rubbing this topical on my temples at night to help relieve tension in my head to get to sleep.
Ylang-ylang is an anti-depressant, antiseptic, helps with muscle spasms, and sedative. It increases blood flow and helps balance the endocrine, cardiovascular, reproductive, and digestive systems. The ylang-ylang really brings this topical up to a new level. This product has deep penetrating effects that help balance the body after a heavy workout or work day.
I have constant tension in my shoulders from working and exercising. I rubbed this topical on my right shoulder and not my left. In the morning, my body felt out of balance because the right shoulder was loose and relaxed and the left shoulder was still tight.
I finished reviewing Receptra Targeted Topical 400 mg, and then I got a mean lower back pain from over work. Before I gave the product back, I rubbed a lot of it on my lower back. 15 minutes and the pain was gone. I’m really impressed with this product. Keep up the good work Receptra Naturals.
Receptra Targeted Topical 400 mg is also great for people who work out, lift heavy object, move a lot, and have sore muscles and joints. It’s the “all natural” version of Icy Hot or Tiger Balm, but it’s better because it has longer lasting and penetrates deeper into the muscle and joints.
